This is more than a day in front of the camera.
It’s a thoughtful, collaborative experience designed to create portraits that reflect your dancer’s artistry, individuality, and the person they are becoming.
Style & Vision
Before the portrait session, we’ll meet via Zoom, and your dancer will be part of the conversation too.
Together, we’ll talk about their personal style, what inspires them, and what they’d like to create. We’ll explore wardrobe, movement, mood, and ideas for the session.
It’s an important first step in giving your dancer a voice in the experience and creating portraits that feel genuinely their own.
Portrait Session
Your session begins with professional hair and makeup, followed by an unhurried day of creating together.
I’ll provide direction throughout, while leaving room for your dancer’s own ideas and expression.
There is nothing they need to prove or perform.
The goal is simply to create something that feels like them.
The Reveal
Moments after the session, you’ll view all the portraits we've made.
We’ll slow down, experience the images together, and select the ones that hold the most meaning for you.
The Artwork
The portraits you choose become something tangible.
Fine art print collections and finished wall art are created to live in your home, not simply as photographs of what your dancer could do, but as artwork reflecting who they were in this chapter of their life.
More Than Dance
Years from now, technique will have changed. Performances will have passed. Costumes will have been put away.
But this part of who they are will still matter.
